Jeter’s guests included some former Yankee players, Andruw Jones, Tino Martinez, and Jorge Posada, and his close relatives, his parents Charles and Dorothy, and sister Sharlee. For Davis, some Sports Illustrated models were on the guest list. Hanna Davis had expressed her wishes of having a simple ceremony and the guest list number only 100.
Earlier this year, she told Health Magazine, “I’m chill. I just want it to be a fun day, not all the fuss. I don’t want to go overboard — it’s not about the place settings. I won’t get stressed out about that, ’cause I could just care less.” She added, “I think finding someone you truly don’t have to change for — not even a single part of you — makes you rise to the occasion. You want to find someone who is way better than you, or you think so.”
Jeter proposed to Davis in October after dating for three years. This engagement was reportedly celebrated with their families at the same venue of the wedding, the Meadowood resort in California´s Napa Valley.
Davis walked down the aisle in a stunning custom Vera Wang dress. It featured a mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline. The gown had Chantilly lace and was covered in layers of tulle. The bride changed to a custom Vera Wang V-neck for the reception.
