Connor McDavid returns to Oilers lineup

It is great news for the Edmonton Oilers. The rookie, Connor McDavid, after missing 37 games, will officially join the Edmonton Oilers lineup for the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Oilers have missed McDavid but with his return, the team feels an extraordinary charge of excitement, anticipation, and thrill just like the first game of the season. McDavid, who was the top-rated NHL draft for 2015, was injured by being run into the boards by 2 Philadelphia players. He has now recovered from serious surgery to repair his broken clavicle. His media relations director, J.J Hebert, said that Connor will come back with more energy and passion. Todd McLellan, Connor’s coach said that Connor is an energetic guy and plays an important role in driving the team to success. He was playing in the 13th game of the season when he was injured. He achieved 12 points at that time including 5 goals and 7 assists. His fans were excited when he announced during an interview session in the dressing room that he will be back on the ice playing his usual intensive style of hockey. While at practice at training camp, the media observed his performance and stamina of the player. His coaches and trainers expect he will return to the ice with the same confidence and enthusiasm as before.
