Highlights of Women’s Soccer World Cup, 2015

The Women’s Soccer World Cup of 2015 was not only the most watched football match in the entire history, but it has its various glorious moments that made it a historic one. Reclaiming its victory for the third time, the US women’s national football team redeemed its loss to Japan in the finals of 2011. This championship victory made the squad three time champions. 

It was a grand scenario as the team lifted their trophy and entire ground chanted “USA”. The finale was an entertaining end to the tournament and also it was the highest scoring final match in the history of the tournament.

During the match, Carli Lloyd scored a great 13 minute hat-trick and the captain was only third from the halfway line. With this match, America is the first and only nation to have won the three Women’s World Cup championship. There were many other moments that made this match historic.
